Seating Management
Many organizations include in their planning an ability to relocate staff to another building or, in some cases, to a dedicated recovery center.
Recovery seating is a very expensive asset and management of the resource against different possible scenarios can become a complex task.
The Factonomy BCM seating management module allows organizations to record at the business level the quorum of staff required to perform critical functions and to allocate recovery positions to them on a scenario basis.
The configuration of seating can include dedicated recovery locations where specialist equipment such as trading turrets, security provisions or specialist facilities can be recorded and matched to requirements.
A critical part of any seating management is the ability to control both dedicated and non-dedicated inventory in an intelligent and cost conscious manner. The Factonomy BCM seating module can be configured to use scenario based management, allowing the same resources to be allocated more than once across different scenarios where the risk of multiple occurrence is considered acceptably low.
The Seating management module can also be used to manage the work and staff transfer agreements between different business units.
When used in conjunction with our Test and Exercise module it is possible to involve seating managers in the testing process and monitor certain seating and remote working capabilities through each testing cycle.
