Hosting Options
Factonomy knows that different clients have very different policies and requirements for solution architectures and differing regulatory and internal policy requirements.
The solutions Factonomy provide are all capable of being hosted on-premises by your internal I.T. services or by Factonomy using either our dedicated or cloud hosting options. We will work with you and with your I.T. and security teams to determine and deliver the approach best suited to your unique requirements.
On Premises - (You Host in your data center)
The Factonomy BCM system will deliver the highest possible ROI when it is seen as a long term investment in capturing and reporting significant information relating to business resilience.
Even greater benefit can be gained when the level of integration to existing enterprise systems increases and it becomes possible to report not only across the BCM data but to link reports, dashboard, workflows and policies with other data in the enterprise.
For this reason Factonomy offers the system to be fully hosted internally by your own IT department within your existing data centers.
There is no premium charged for this option and Factonomy has already aided a number of the worlds largest corporations to host internally.

Cloud Host Options
Whilst dedicated hosting provides clear lines to the physical media on which data is stored, it can be expensive for small installations.
In order to provide the most secure cloud options for its customers, Factonomy has partnered with Microsoft and delivers its hosted solution using the Microsoft Data Centers and the Azure platform. Using Azure fundamentally increases the resilience of hosting because of its ability to virtualize both data and the application. Independent experts agree that this provides a more advanced and robust platform than traditional hosting solutions and other cloud providers.
The SQL Azure database platform guarantees that your data has at all times been written to no less than three SQL servers located in two geographically distinct locations.
The application will execute on no less than two instances with load sharing enabled by default thus should there be a failure on a single instance users are automatically transferred to the second instance whilst in the background new instances are created and brought on-line.
