What is the projected network load for a 'typical' application?
Applications developed in the Factonomy Framework are entirely ‘thin client’ applications. They make extensive use of web2.0 technologies including AJAX and JSON and the client is entirely browser based with no requirement for plug-ins.
It is also the case that all data is efficiently paged ensuring that there is never more data sent to the client than that which is visible to the user at any given point in time.
All reports and graphs/charts are compiled server side and delivered to the client in a similar fashion.
All of the above result in some of the lowest bandwidth requirements possible. We would recommend a minimum bandwidth requirement of 256Kbps to serve 50 active users.
