Case Study - ECCM
"Delivery of online Extranet for major oil company - in only 4 weeks"
Project Summary
The Edinburgh Centre for Carbon Management (ECCM) in conjunction with BP, has developed the Product-Enabled Emission Reductions (PEERs) methodology to characterise CO2 emissions by their product or service category.
- ECCM and BP needed a solution quickly
- Factonomy delivered the solution in 4 weeks
Using the Factonomy Framework, which delivers solutions for complex business requirements without the need to write any bespoke code, Factonomy created an online application that allowed contributing companies to register details of PEERs and to upload reports and other summary documents as part of the methodology process.
Client Comment
"We had a pressing deadline to deliver an online solution for our client - BP. It was important to find a suitable IT partner who would not only work with us to deliver within this short timescale but do without compromising on the quality of delivery."
"Factonomy met and went on to exceed our expectations on the BP project and as a result we are delighted to recommend them."
